Beyond the Shutter

LC Studios started in 2021 as a way to make sense of a new chapter, a way to keep looking closely at the world with a six-month-old on my hip. It's grown into a full-time practice since, but the instinct hasn't changed: say yes, pay attention, keep the camera out of the way.

I read the room and fill the gaps. Some shoots need energy, some need me to disappear. Either way, I give the environment what it needs so the shot stays honest.

Intentional Artistry

Say yes — If it can be photographed, I probably want to.
Unstaged — Fly-on-the-wall, no matter the subject.
True to life — a little punchier than reality, never far from it.

If there's light worth chasing, I'm probably already pulling the car over for it.
