crafting intimate stories in bozeman, montana & beyond

To me, photography is about presence. My style is best described as documentary: quietly observant, fly-on-the-wall, and always tuned into the beauty of what’s real. I lean into true-to-life colors, natural contrast, and those subtle, in-between moments that say the most.

Each session is a reflection of the people and the energy within it. I’m inspired by the uniqueness of every client, every story, and every sliver of light that changes how we see the world. With a mix of attentiveness and intention, I style just enough to help you feel comfortable and authentic, while allowing space for moments to unfold naturally.

I believe the most meaningful art begins with honesty, and the courage to be fully ourselves. My goal is always to create images that feel honest - images that carry the weight of memory and the ease of simply being yourself.

I first discovered photography in high school, and I’ve had a camera within arm’s reach ever since. The spark truly ignited in 2014, when I was living in west Texas. Long drives for work turned into spontaneous photo stops — abandoned buildings, wide open skies, and sunsets too vivid to ignore. In the evenings, I’d wander downtown Abilene with my camera, chasing the way light transformed ordinary streets into something extraordinary.

A move to Colorado soon led me into the luxury wedding industry in Vail Valley, where I wore many hats: assistant, planner, floral lead, event designer, and eventually event curation director. Those years sharpened my eye for detail, design, and storytelling in a way that continues to shape my photography.

After an abrupt shift to my wedding & events career in 2020, I returned to photography through food and simple shoots for friends and family, and as a way to recenter myself after giving birth to my son, Archer. What began as a way to cope, quickly reignited my passion and sparked LC Photostyle.

These days, you can find me in Bozeman with my husband, Jon, and our son, Archer. We love spending time outdoors, whether it’s floating the Madison, fishing, or cheering on the Montana State Bobcats. Evenings and weekends are best spent with friends and family, soaking in all the little adventures Montana has to offer.
